a) BBC In Our Time: The Eighteenth Century.  Great radio programs on the origins of "electricity" as well as the relationship between astronomy and empire. Also one on Goethe and Enlightenment Science, Immunisation, Mary Wollestonecraft, The Lunar Society, Edmund Burke and Swift. (58 programs overall.)
